The longest-running aviation event in Asia is finally back! The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta returns this year for its 23rd run as they present Flying Carnival 2020: A Weekend of Almost Everything That Flies. Since we missed it last year, the anticipation for the event is greater than ever!

Happening on March 6 to 8, 2020, the event promises three full days of fun as they color the skies with flying attractions and entertainment. For many years, the event’s venue of choice has always been the Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City, Pampanga. This year, the much-awaited event flies to a new venue south of Manila, at the Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.

The event is a gathering of pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and spectators from all over the world, It aims to educate about aircraft and machines, share the passion for flying, and promote our local aviation industry to the global community.

Aspiring aviators and young explorers are encouraged to attend the event’s series of seminars held by aviation professionals. Here, they can gain more knowledge about aviation, get help in choosing the right career in the industry, and meet other aviators.

Enjoy a festive weekend of breathtaking aerial displays and theatrics including aerobatic paragliders, formation skydiving, and helicopter maneuvers. Patrons are also invited to take their fiesta experience to greater heights by hopping on to a hot air balloon, riding a helicopter, or go paragliding with a trusted professional.

A fly market where visitors can buy colorful kites so that they can be part of the fun even while on the ground. There is also an indoor bazaar during the event where one can shop for souvenirs, tokens, and more.
